❗️RECORDING TIPS❗️
Your team will be recording their pitch video this week. Some may have never recorded video, so here are some tips to keep in mind.
- You can allow students to use their phone to film the video.
- Film in landscape mode.
- Nerves are real when it comes to pitching! Encouraging girls to practice pitching their ideas in workshops and weekly sessions throughout the season helps normalize the process and prepares them for recording final pitch video or attending an in-person or online event (if your region hosts one).
A student once said: “I will join Technovation Girls but I do not want to pitch.” By the end of the Technovation Girls launch workshop in January, she stood up with her team and pitched to the entire room.
