Program Implementation Partners

Run Technovation Girls

Bring Technovation Girls to your community

Empower girls in your community by engaging them in Technovation’s free technology entrepreneurship program. Teams of girls ages 8-18 design app-based tech solutions to a community or global problem and pitch their ideas in a worldwide competition.

Technovation leans on local implementation partners to facilitate the program in their community. Check out our network of partners to learn about the global community you'll be joining.

Types of Implementation Partners

Technovation leverages two different types of program implementation models: Chapters and Clubs.

Chapters

Chapters offer the Technovation program through an organization, usually utilizing a “train the trainer” model. They are led by an individual or team within an organization who are designated as “Chapter Ambassadors”. These leaders decide how to run Technovation through their organization and identify what staff or volunteers will facilitate the program.

Chapters...

  • Implement Technovation through an existing organization
  • Offer programming by identifying and supporting staff or volunteers to work with student teams
  • Have the capacity to involve at least 15 girls on teams

Clubs

Clubs are led by individual volunteers called Club Ambassadors who run Technovation with girls in a community. Club Ambassadors can be parents, teachers, industry professionals, university students, or any involved community member. Starting a Club is a great way to increase your impact as a first time or a returning volunteer.

Clubs..

  • Implement the Technovation program through an individual volunteer
  • Offer programming by identifying and supporting adults to work with student teams
  • Have the capacity to involve at least 15 girls on teams
