Two Connecticut teams make semi-finals in the 2016 Technovation Challenge which is a world-wide entrepreneurship contest where teams of girls write a mobile application to address a need in their community. The semi-finalists were announced earlier today. The girls wrote their apps while participating in many school and after-school activities. The two teams, GHAMAS Tech and Lady Phoenix, were first and second place winners respectively in the Connecticut Regional Contest which took place on April 23, 2016 at the CREC Academy of Aerospace and Engineering.
