Inspiring Minnesota girls to get tech crazy

Shawn Stavseth has always been interested in emerging technology. As a former marketing director for Thomson Reuters, Stavseth was responsible for designing and launching one of Thomson Reuters’ first native iPhone apps, and she also helped lead the march to enable mobile payments for the company.

But last year, Stavseth decided that she wanted to give back a little more and focus on solving a vexing problem in the tech industry: the gender gap.
