Bea Johnson of ZeroWasteHome is a Franco-American author, speaker and minimalist known for initiating the waste-free living movement. She fit one year of her family’s waste into a pint size jar.
Manila’s Zero Waste Neighborhoods, polluted by plastic waste, are taking things into their own hands by creating systemic zero waste programs that collect all recyclables, compost all organics, and push for corporate accountability for all the rest.
Melati Wijsen and Isabel Wijsen are sisters and co-founders of Bye Bye Plastic Bags in 2013. They started Bye Bye Plastic Bags at the ages of 10 and 12 which led to the official ban of plastic bags in their home island in Bali, Indonesia.
