Question 11 of 12
11. Question
What range of scores should this learning journey receive based on the rubric?
In our app development, we all embraced new technologies. We studied through books, online courses, and collected information from websites. The first feature is conversational functionality, using generative AI and speech synthesis for smooth dialogue. The second feature involves 3D modeling; we learned Blender to create 3D avatars that can blink and move their mouths in sync with audio, and developed origami animations from various perspectives using armatures. The third feature is communication functionality; we learned JavaScript and Skyway to enable one-click web meetings.
To make the app usable even for elderly users unfamiliar with digital interfaces, we focused on elder-friendly design, paying close attention to font sizes, button sizes, and color schemes.
Due to the need for improvements based on extensive feedback, we exhibited the app at trade shows and tested it in elderly origami circles.
For our pitch video, we utilized a new tool, Da Vinci Resolve, employing it for transitions and animations and acquiring new skills like node management.
In our demo video, we deeply considered how to effectively convey the app’s features, learning that the presentation method in videos greatly affects how information is perceived.CorrectIncorrect -
