Run Technovation Girls

United States Educators

Bring free tech education to girls in your community

Empower girls in your community by engaging them in Technovation’s free technology entrepreneurship program. Teams of girls ages 8-18 design app-based tech solutions to a community or global problem and pitch their ideas in a worldwide competition.

Technovation leans on local implementation partners to facilitate Technovation Girls in their communities, and we're especially eager to bring on new partners in the United States.

What Current Program Implementation Partners Think

Sheila James, Chapter Ambassador for Technovation in Ohio

"Using the Technovation Girls curriculum, I created a peer learning community. We worked on an engineering mindset and having them look at equitable practices, and a session on youth voice and how to encourage more opportunities for youth voice."

— Sheila James, Ohio Afterschool Network
Ohio

"Our goal is to help children gain access to new models and pathways in technology and entrepreneurship to pursue their own passions, dreams, and careers in new and accessible ways. For over 9 years we have opened doors for children who are often left out of these conversations due to gender, race, or economic status."

— Jean Weiss, CodeSavvy
Minnesota

Angelica Tyler, Chapter Ambassador for Technovation in South Carolina

“Technovation Girls has given so many of our underrepresented and underserved youth the opportunity to be a part of a free program that engages them in fun and exciting coding, technology, entrepreneurship, and STEM. Girls who have no prior computer science experience have thrived. Technovation Girls is the perfect program for any afterschool or out-of-school-time program!”

— Angelica Tyler
South Carolina
