Judge

Become a Virtual Judge

Encourage young entrepreneurs around the world to keep building.

Provide valuable feedback to teams of girls on the mobile apps they built from scratch this season – no tech background needed.

Technovation Girls Judges support and motivate 10,000 girls from 50+ countries. As an individual judge, you'll commit to scoring at least 5 submissions, but you can score as many as you like! Your scores will help determine the 2025 Technovation Girls Semifinalists and Regional Winners and Finalists.

You do not need to be a mobile expert or have a technical background to be a judge.

Registration to be a judge is currently closed. Judge registration will be open April 7 - May 26 and June 2 - 18. You can sign up for our mailing list if you want to receive an email when registration opens for the 2025 Technovation Girls season.

Volunteer Online: Support and encourage girls from the comfort of home

Learn about the problems that girls around the world care about, and how they're solving them, without having to travel anywhere.

Judging is an entirely online, virtual experience. A convenient way to give back and connect even at a distance, judging can be as little as a 3 hour commitment or expand much further.

You also set the schedule – judge when it is convenient for you. Log on when you have time, judge one submission or several in row, it's up to you! Start and stop based on your schedule at home.

As a Technovation Judge, your job is to offer honest – but supportive – feedback to teams on their ideas and the mobile app prototypes they've built to address problems in their communities.

Our hope is that girls participating continue to work on their apps but more importantly, continue to grow into confident, creative problem solvers and leaders in their communities. Feedback from judges is key to helping them develop that confidence and belief in their abilities.

Training

Technovation provides an online training that includes an overview of the program and guidance for giving feedback and scoring projects.

You can also take a look past projects in our Project Gallery to see what to expect from student projects.
