Who is this training for?

Educators in Texas who provide STEM learning to students grades 3-8.

No tech experience required! We welcome multidisciplinary educators, attendees are not required to teach STEM exclusively.

What will participants learn in this training?

A comprehensive, all-expenses-paid training that equips educators to guide their students in tackling real-world problems by designing tech solutions. This 4-day workshop will provide hands-on collaborative experiences to facilitate a journey where educators will:

  • Develop foundational skills in coding, machine learning, GenAI, and tech entrepreneurship
  • Share best practices for promoting 21st century skills and social emotional learning through student-driven, project-based innovation
  • Explore how to leverage Technovation’s free curriculum & resources to spark tech innovation in the classroom and beyond.

Upon completion, educators will receive a $200 stipend as well as a certificate for 28 Texas CPE credit hours.

Please note: Technovation’s curriculum and program is aligned with the TEKS Computational Thinking Elementary and Middle School Standards.

Where & when will the training take place?

This professional development workshop will be hosted July 14-17, 2025. The exact location in Texas to be announced soon.

All travel expenses, accommodation, and meals will be covered by Technovation thanks to generous support from WeTeach CS. Attendees must attend all 4 days of the workshop.
