Pembroke students honored for app development

Several girls from Pembroke High School recently were honored for their work on applications they designed at Technovation, including two that won the Congressional App Challenge for their app “Hungry Hungry Helpers.”

High School Juniors Allison Robatzek and Marie Galley were assigned a project in one of their classes where they had to come up with an app to benefit society. Their creation was an easy way to donate money so that people in need could use the funds to buy food at local stores and restaurants.
