Monta Vista High School FemStem team launch autism app

A small group of young women in Cupertino are preparing to take the world by storm. In a few days, they will pitch their homemade app, Alleviate, at the Technovation World Pitch Competition for up to $15,000 in prize money.

Technovation is a club at Cupertino’s Monta Vista High School and a worldwide organization that gives girls the skills to emerge as technology entrepreneurs. Every year, Technovation asks girls to identify a problem in their community and to work in teams to build a mobile app to solve that problem.
