Lydia Mindermann and Andrea Richard helped create an app they will present at the White House Science Fair.
The app “Mayo FreeTime” helps visitors in Rochester find things to do during downtime at Mayo Clinic, like events, dining. It even has a map and chat feature to connect with others.
It beat out projects by other young scientists in Minnesota. First winning regionals, then going to nationals. They went on to win the audience choice award at the Global Technovation challenge in San Fancisco last year.
