ASTON >> Miranda Lopez was smiling ear to ear when her team placed first in the DelcoGirls Code Technovation Challenge.
Lopez, a sixth-grader at Delcroft Elementary School in Folcroft, designed an app called Spot Spot — used by people to track their pets and reduce the number of stray and lost pets in the county.
“I feel really good, really excited and happy right now. It’s going to go worldwide and help everyone around the world, “said the pint-size Lopez.
