Five girls from New Horizon Public School (NHPS) in Indiranagar has made Bangalore proud by becoming the world-champions at Technovation Challenge 2015 held at San Francisco last week. The NHPS team (named Pentchan) was declared the winner of the global pitch event for developing a mobile App and are now eligible to be awarded 10,000 dollars towards seed funding in developing the App further.
Technovation Challenge is the world’s largest and longest technology competition in the world. The event was organised in partnership with Adobe Foundation, CA Technologies, Google, Verizon, United Nations Women, UNESCO and MIT Media Lab.
